Lyn, Well I know by having 3 hsg ( which is also called a dye test) not sure if you have ever had one.Thats when the run dye through your fallopine tubes if it spills out tehn they are open if they don't then they are blocked. The other tube is most likely blocked it spasemed thats why he isn't one hundered per cent positive.Ok now people have had the tube cleared this may or may not work I have heard of women who have had them cleared and it then helped them get pregnant. But this is a delicate procedure they are delicate and have been told sorry to say it may cause an eptopic pg since they are not really healthy. So he is really advising the IVF since it takes no tubes to do this.Also I have read where it helps the embroy grow stronger since woamn with endo do have a sort of chemical enviroment in the uterus which also can cause miscarriage.The IVF by passes this since all the fertilization is done outside the body.i haven't yet done IVF since we don't have the finaces yet or insurance coverage for this.I hope this helps any more questions please feel free to ask .
