surgey and resultsFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netSat Jan 30 09:22:03 1999
Hi everybody, Thank you for all your warm wishes and prayers. The surgery went fine, I just didn't come out of anesthesia too well. When I woke up they had to give me something to slow my heart down and to stop me from shaking. I was shaking so bad they were holding me down on the bed. What ever they gave me knocked me back out for a little while. Then when I woke up the second time they had to give me something for nausea a couple of times and it took a long time for me to be able to use the bathroom. I still can't use it right. My doctor said that she found very little endo and not as many adhesions as she expected, but that my left tube is blocked and my right one is clear. She told my husband these things. She also told him that she could go in and give me a more major op to see if she could find the blockage in that one tube and my husband told her he didn't think I would want to go through another operation. Bless his heart, I don't think he can take it anymore either. I told him I would talk to her and see if she really thought it was necessary or beneficial and that I might have it if it were. If it's not going to be, then she can have it. She also told him that she couldn't figure out what was causing some of my symptoms. She also didn't tell him anything about my bladder, which was a primary concern for me, I'm hoping she'll do that on the tenth. My mother-in-law came over to take care of me and she had a stomach virus, so for the last two days I have been fighting constant nausea and bad bowel movements, she should have told us she was sick. This is the last thing I need. Anyway, guys I sure appreciated all of your thoughts and prayers, I'm going to lay back down now, talk to you guys later. Donna
