Re: endometriosis pain, surgery, infertilityAngelFrom: Kevin (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri Jan 29 22:35:30 1999
Angel, Hi I have a lot of the same problems you did/do except the loss of a baby I have never been able to get pregnant. I got married in 1990 never knowing I had endo .A year after we had been married we started trying for pregnancy after 18 months (due to a move insurance and some other situations ) I went to a ob/gyn. I was put on clomid and given those hcg shots after 6 months with no luck moved to an RE more clomid and he even checked my tubes said they were fine. Next I went on pergonal and hcg and even had an IUI it was after I had used up my infertility insurance that I went back to my ob/gyn due to insurance reasons and demanded a lap be done . I had my firts lap in 1994 I had /have stage 3 endo and that also showed a blocked tube. I had a second lap in 1998 and it once again showed endo and 1 tube blocked and the other tube spasmed ( thats what he called it) where it may or may not be blocked. I ma now seeing a new RE and this time we are trying lupron to get rid of the endo since it seems this second lap didn't work. Anyway I unfortunaetly don't have a happily ever after story YET ! But I hope to someday ,I have read many letters on bulletin boards from woaman who beat endo and have their miracle baby or babies. I hope to be one someday myself. I have been trying for 7&1/2 yrs and no its not easy but I feel somehow I'll be a better mother for every thing I have done to achieve it. If you need to talk E-mail me maybe i can help maybe I can't butI believe it helps to talk about it. Take care Lori in WI Lfonz28@hotmail.com
