I am not sure if you know much about Vicoprofen - but it is a combination of hydrocodone (a narcotic) and ibueprofen - I looked it up on an rx webpage - anyway - the only side effects I have is sleepiness - and it kind of gives me a "happy" buzz - which is just fine with me - since the last thing I feel when on my period and in terrible pain is happy! Anyway - good luck with it and I hope it helps you as well as it has helped me.
