Toni--

I have been in a very similar situation with my obgyn. He suddenly thought the pain was something best treated by a pain specialist, when in fact, the adhesions are very treatable by someone who knows what he or she is doing. I suffered terribly with dense adhesions, and I finally got relief when I went to an endo doc who removed them and treated me with a solution that prevented them from coming back. This was about six months ago and I am pain free. I found him through the Endometriosis Association Headquarters. They have a link at obgyn.net. They were very helpful.
