Toni - PaxelFrom: Chrissy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Jan 28 12:10:17 1999
Toni, Just wanted to tell you that you should stop taking the Paxel until you see your doc. My ex-husband was put on Paxel after our daughter was diagnosed with Brain Cancer. The fifth day on it, he felt like he had to go to the bathroom (diarrehea) so he went. The next thing he new he was waking up in our living room floor shaking all over and did not remember what had happened. He new he had turned on the TV because it was off when he went to the bathroom when he woke up it was on. He had also let our dogs outside. I took him to the emergency room and the ER doc could not explain what had happened. He said his blood pressure probably went sky high causing him to black out. The ER also did an EKG on him to rule out a heart attack and it came back negative. It was a scary moment for both of us. I wanted you to know this so you can take precausion. Chrissy
