I hope someone can relateFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netThu Jan 28 06:06:44 1999
HI ladies. I haven't posted for a while to the group because I have been very busy with work, classes, and making sure I get to the gym as well as having time to commute back and forth to all of these places. As many of you may know, i am almost 23 and I have been sooooo much better since I had my left ovary and tube out in September. Anyway, when I was 17 I suddenly experienced the pain etc which ended up being a cyst and had surgery. My periods got very irregular and had black dysfunctional bleeding. I had my very last period in 1994. The pain continued to get worse. Did the lupron thing and felt better and went to continuous BCPs. during the break in between still no period. Now let me jump ahead and skip over the severe pain, cramps etc. Since the surgery, i have been on a regular regime of BCPs low estrogen. I am wondering if anyone here has had the same experience where their periods stopped totally on their own and still haven't returned. I am not in a situation now to get pregnant but I want to have a baby more than anything in this world. I am wondering if my period will ever come back. I get the cramps and stuff and my right side doesn't bother me (just my uterus now) and they won't do a hystero on me thankfully!!!! I would appreciate it if anyone can offer any support or info!! thanks for listening. Jenn from Maine
