Wow!! THanks to all of you who replied to my post. I voiced my concerns w/ my ob/gyn, and he said this is only "exploratory surgery for diagnostic purposes only." Then we will know what we are up against and treat accordingly. Does this sound better?? THe only thing that concerns me is that it's not like an x-ray or something I can use to carry around to other doctors. You know? So, if I decide to change doctors, will I have to go through a diagnostic lap every time so they know?
