I appreciate all the posts you have left me, it is hard to talk to someone when you feel you do not have anyone, my husband understands some, but he thinks i am crazy, what are you nervous about, it is just a totally new situation for me, I am not used to this. Do they keep in contact with our drs.? I do not see my gyn til April now, unless I need to see him, he said he will see me anytime. Have they said you will be able to stay away from surgery, Kimmi, or wikk it be a matter of time. I was wondering I asked the forum what a nurse practioneer does, cause my gyn's wife works in the office with him, and she really has only taken a few calls from my husband if the dr is out of town, and we talk to her at the office alittle, and she calls me to schedule surgery for me, but I have never really told her too much, although she knows about all the trouble I have had. The only thing she told my husband on the phone one night when the dr was out of town, that she will call us back after she heard from him, cause he probaly will not give me any pain meds. that he was beside himself with toni. I guess sometimes I feel like she would understand the problems I have had and what to do . She has told me before I had my lap in august that she has seen women while she was in OR have adhesions taken down yearly, but they were all able to go through ;aps. She said she has never seen any of my drs patients go through them like I have, so I know it is not the technique of my gyn, there are aa few drs and people her that say this, but the adhesions were the BIG problem when he did my lap. 4 yeras ago, before he did my hysterectomy, he has helped me ever since. I guess I am talking so much, my husband and I are arguing tonight, my stupid fault, but Kimmi, his father was diagnosed with cancer about 4 months ago, right after I got out of the hospital, I feel like for 18 years I have never been good enough for their son, even though they seem to like me, I know his dad loves me. His mom a different story, she always made me feel like I was not good enough, I guess cause I had a baby from 1st marriage, but my husband adopted him tho. She never calls me, she calls his brother's wife religiously, and I will never forget when my mom died so suddenly, I could not do anyhting without crying, for al least a year, and she would yell at me, and say that I had to go on with life, I knew that, but my mother was my best friend, she died so fast, God did not give me the time to tell her how much I loved her. Not that she did not know it, but I needed a little time after the put her on a ventilator. I did not get it, I wanted to tell her so much, which they told me she heard me the night they told us she was dying. I hope she did, but now that her husband is sick, she cries all the time, and when I try to talk about mom, they shut me off, ALL THE TIME! I guess I am bitter, i know I am wrong, but I have been through so much in 3 years, i cannot get the support I need. My sister has had Crohns disease for 10 years(diagnosed), I saw her suffer for years, she almost died 2 years ago, and they found she had an abscess in her intestines ans she had to get a colostomy(PERMANENT), that was only 3 months after they diagnosed my 21 year old son with IBD! They are not sure yet if it is Crohns cause he has pathology that shows both UC and crohns, this was all after mom died and not too long after. I worry about my bot so much, and no one ever asks me how he is doing, he is fine now, but they tell me he can flare up anythime. It is normal to worry about your kid, I am getting off the subjct, what I am telling you too, I guesss, I am depressed anyway, a nd the pain I have had along with all the worry and hurts, KIMMI, I cannot stand no more. I have hoped for something for nervesm I was on Xanax for years, and it helped me, now that I am off it, I feel good about it, but I need to find someone to help this ahian, I hate to get on that stuff again, but there are times I need to do something about that too. I am rambling on, I am sorry! I will write tomorrow! Keep in touch, you make me feel better! Toni
