This isn't really endo related, but I thought I'd share my embarassing yet funny little experience I had tonight. After all, humor is the best medicine. Well, here's the story.... I'm at the end of my period, and after being in the city all day I come home, and go to the bathroom to get a fresh tampon. I was quite surprised to see that I was missing part of the "changing" process, mainly a string!!! Well, I panicked and tried to remember if I had even put in a tampon earlier in the first place... I knew I had, and thought for sure that it had been one that was missing a string! So, after much "searching" I went to the hospital to see if the elusive tampon was "hiding" somewhere. Well, turns out there was no lost tampon, but I remember putting one in!!! So, the only thing I can think of is that it was an empty applicator, which tends to happen quite a bit. (Ever had that experience?) Well, I was quite embarrassed! But all I can do is just laugh about it now. It reminded me of the time the end of a q-tip fell off inside my ear. Another one for the x-files I guess. :) Carole
