Feeling better today!From: Toni (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Jan 11 13:43:33 1999
I am wondering if anyone here as had some help from anti depressants, it seems the pain has responded to them. It has only been 4 days since I started it, but it is making me sort of dizzy! I cannot believe I think they found something to help me, but I do not know if I can take it! I saw the gyn today and he said I seemed alot better than the last time I saw him and that I looked to be more calm, he was alos gald to hear I found a GI dr. to check some things out, he said that it was a good sign that the small bowel series was normal, and there were no kinks to be seen in the bowel. I guess, that is good news, but adhesions dont show up, and I knew that. I hate wondering how the bowel is now, but as long as I can get relief for awhile til I get to go to pain management, I can live with it! I know someday I am going to want someone to do another lap. to see where the bowel is , and if the adhesions have bound them up anymore. He said he knows I have them, but too much surgery will make things worse! So thank you all fo rall your support, I am just amd old mixed up woman, if I can try to help any of you please let me know! Toni
