If I had it my way I would ban all the baby mags and mother/child pictures in the exam rooms. I did have a female doctor once, who would try to set her appt schedule so that whenever possible the days were booked with problems separate from pregnancies. She has awesome bedside manner and use to give me hugs at the end of each exam. The weirdest thing though was that she is only two weeks older than me (I'm almost 36) and I didn't feel comfortable for her to do surgery since she didn't have a lot of experience yet.
