It's always been like this that men are taken more seriously when it
comes to problems. As for having an unsympathetic nurse, that is
pathetic. To embarrass the man's wife was even worse. If men had endo,
and the type of chronic pain that we all have to suffer with there would
have been a craze to get as many research grants as they could get to
find the answers as to what causes this disease. We're the ones that
are told that it's all in our heads.
The reason are taken more seriously when it comes to pain is because
they are big "crybabies" just like children. They act like it's the end
of the world, and then many of them are told that they aren't "men" if
they cry. Oh well, one day they'll see that we aren't wrong.
