Re: New Year / New Doctor

Kathy,

I'm so glad that everything went well with the doctor, and that you feel good about the visit. I'm sorry that you felt hurt seeing all those women and their families going for ultrasounds. I can understand where seeing something like that would make you want to cry. Endo can cause so many feelings to build up both good and bad. Don't worry about sounding like a broken record. You have come to the right place to cry, and vent.

We aren't going to care if your posts are really long. Being in a new place all by yourself can be very difficult as well, but maybe one of the other things you might want to consider is joining a local endo support group as well. The more people you have to talk to about it the better. We'll all still be here for you, but we all need that physical contact of someone who understands what we're feeling when we feel down as well.

I've had my share of ups and downs and repeating myself a lot. The only reason we do is because we are trying to work things out. We want to be able to understand why it is that there are certain things that endo won't let us do. We're so glad that you are here. Just hang in there, and know that we're here for you. The purpose of this board is to be here for each other.

If you want to talk privately, feel free to e-mail me at any time of the day or night.

Warm wishes,

sokokl@yahoo.com Kristy
