It really doesn't make sense that they take away the estrogen with Lupron and then they add some back (very little) and the whole thing is supposed to work. But this is what they are recommending and say the research backs it up. The add back estrogen eases the hot flashes. I think my gyn said it would not help much with the other menopausal symptoms but I could be remembering wrong on that part. Chris S.
