I think it did. BUt I might have had the same results (which appear to be successful but you never know) without the saline. After all, no barrier was used after my first lap and they found on the second lap that that area had healed nicely with no adhesion reformed. My gyn has done lots of surgery in the past reconstructing reproductive tracts (I guess they don't do this anymore with IVF???) so he must have a reason not to use these barriers. My gen surgeon did say that they don't work as well as everyone would like them to. I imagine he has gone in to find some real messes. Chris S.
