Regarding the weight gains, I would like to add in my experience. Back in 1987, I was actually dieting (unknowingly pregnant-(ectopic) so still had periods) At that point I weighed about 190. My normal comfortable weight for my frame ( I have hands larger than most men - lol) and height (5'10") is 180. Well from that time forward with all the treatments and drugs I worked myself up to a whopping 300#. Talk about a balloon that wanted to burst! Could hardly tie my shoes. With all the pain and depression - I felt a lot had to do with my inactivity, I don't consume a lot of food (some choices are poor - I love bread). Then about two years ago (when I ditched my ex) Some of my stress was reduced and I became a little more active and 50 pounds just melted away over that period. Exercise is a four letter word to me - the thought of doing a sit-up makes me cringe - due to the horrible pain that occurs where my surgical scars and lack of muscle there. Funny how the family quit making comments about my weight after they became aware of the endo, but strangers can be cruel. I have my self-esteem intact now and have been able to maintain my weight which I suppose is better than yo-yo. And the doctors have not given me much hassle about the extra - as they can see that I have dropped some the past two years. Okay I am rambling - but in this - Cosmopolitan Image Society - it can get to be a drag and drain on your mental self wellness. This also makes me think - being in this virtual world - not being able to see peoples faces it's kinda weird. Anybody who want to swap pics online please let me know. I promise no porno photos - lol! Okay - everyone have a safe time tonite as we bring in the New Year! Kathy
