Chris Hi..I also suffer from Fibromyalgia..one of the meds they use to treat that is Amitryptline.Which is was orignally used to treat depression..But in low doses they found it helped to control pain..I am now up to 50 mg for the Fm...It worked well for awhile, but unfortunately my FM is getting worse I am not sure if they will need to up the med or not.My Fm doctor said they could go as high as 150 to treat pain.over that than it is no good and used for depression..There are many that do well on this to help with pain associated with Fibro and Chronic Fatigue.. Neurotin is another one they use to try and help with pain relief..None of these are narcotics which is what they like to try first..They do come with side effects of making you very sleepy, but once you get them in your system your body gets use to them.. take care Kimmi
