Re: Second Opinion?From: kim (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Dec 30 20:50:31 1998
Kellie If you insurance allows second opinions that is always wonderful and I always think everyone should get a second opinion..I personally cannot give you good news about lupron but please inform youself before taking this drug..I have a link you may want to read..Its not to scare you its to inform you of this drug..Some women do have success from it..but many have horrible sideeffects as with everything its a trial and error..if you start and its not feeling good/right you can go off it.. Endo is one of those things some women have it have no pain no problems, some have surgery and its gone, some have surgery and it keeps coming back there is no way to know what catagory you will fall into until the time comes. Now they noticed adhesions did they remove them?or let them be? That is also like the endo,Most people have adhesions somewhere in their body, many aren't effected, some have surgery they are removed and never come back, then there are other's that just keep getting worse.. Noone can predict what is going to happen even the doctors from what i have learned..Best thing is to do what you are doing.get the facts.learn all you can, then you are more prepared to talk with your doctor ask questions and find the right treatment for you.. Hugs hoping tomorrow is a pain free day..
