Dear Endo Friends, I haven't said too much lately, just wanted to sit back and read everyone's thoughts, fears, and insights. It is a wonderful feeling that you're not alone with this condition. I was diagnosed a month ago with endo and boy, have I've ben scared. There are times that I'm angry, depressed, or scared and it is nice to know that these feelings are normal. My doctor wants to start me on 1 month 3.75mg Lupron in a week or two. That scares me! I've read all of your letters for and against. I already suffer from bad migraine attacks (I'm on Amerge 2.5 mg), I'm a teacher and can not miss anymore school. The side effects scare me. Some of my friends are encouraging me to go for a second opinion. Should I do that and prolong the treatment. During the surgery they noticed an adhesion beginning on my right ovary. I am at wit's end trying to figure the right thing to do. Let me know your thoughts on this. I trust all of you and I have faith in your willingness to help others like us in their time of need.
