Hi, I would like to add my two cents in about weight..My weight went the complete opposite because of the all pain,I had been in for the past few years.I topped off my pregnancy my daughter was born Dec 95 I weighed 170lbs..I gained about 65 with that pregnancy,As you recall my problems got worse right after delivery..In July of 98 i weighed in at 89lbs..I became what was called medically induced anorexia..because of the pain I was not able to eat,because of the pain meds I was not able to eat,Pain caused me to have severe nausea,so then i would try to eat and everything would come up..Finally in July of 98 the doctor that diagnoised with the fibromyalgia put me on a medication that they hoped would ease some of the FM pain but also put weight on you..He told me when i started the meds that they often have to watch people's weight because if you have a weight problem you will gain more weight,for me they were hoping to put weight on to help me beable to fight off other infections.Every cold,flu that walked by me jumped in my bones..but I am happy to say that I am now 103lbs so I put on 24lbs in 5 months..But weight is an important issue that isn't often addressed when it comes to pain..I know both sides.I know women like myself that have dropped way below the normal weight.And I know women that have gained excess weight because of Pain..Its honestly sad because most doctor's don't address those issue's until it becomes a serious health problem.. Ok my two cents done..
