worrying!

I guess it is normal to worry about so much, I guess I have seen too much in my family for so many years, and it all topped off when my mother died 2 years ago. I am sure alot of people deal with illness, but we all deal different. When I was 6 my little sister died, that still stays, you know how childhood stays with you, 38 years! And my sister now who is 10 years younger has been sick since she was 13! We almost lost her back then, she hemoraged(spelling) in the middle of the night through her period, and they gave her 19 pints of blood while she was in the hospital, could not find the problem, finally they said it was ITP, a blood disease where the platelets do not clot, they took her spleen out and she was fine for years, but then the diagnosed her with crohns disease! Alot of problem over the years, but last year I think it all topped off when she had a permanent colostomy, due to an absess in her bowel , then i saw that and 8 months later I watched my 21 year old son lose alot of blood rectally, and severe diarehea, he was losing ALOT of weight and tried to hide it from me, he did not want to worry me, he was sick for 6 weeks, after his colonoscoy, the dr told me his colon was 95% ulcerated, and said the pathology would show if is crohns or ulcerative coloitis, which I know is the same but crohns can go to more organs than UC, right now they just say it is inflamatory bowel disease, and he has been on one drug for a year, will take it the rest of his life, and has had no recurring problems, I worry about this ALOT! The dr did a simoidoscopy last year and said he is doing great, he only had 2-3 ulcers, he was leased, but to see all that my sister went through, and now I havwe to worry about my son, I guess you can only take so much! Well enough of this I am sorry I was just thinking, you all take care and talk to you later!

Love TOni
