Chris, My gyn said that when he did me lap before the laparotomy,that he was shocked that I had not had an obstruction, but that if it had not happened by that point, it probably wouldn't, I guess I will worry about this the rest of my life, but when your mother died from this, ((one of her problems), my whole family worries about my bowel, even my son, but I try not to think about it, they are always talking about it though, I hope these tests ease my dad's mind, I am 44, but he worries about his kids , you know how that goes!
