Hi, Well i am sure you are like me.Any relief from pain is a huge improvement. I haven't talked to the surgeon that is going to do this procedure.First pain management will do this Jan 5,they will go in and with a needle deaden the nerves.If this takes,then they will send me to a surgeon to do the cutting of the nerves. I know they have said this too they cannot guarentee how long I it will work,or if i will be worse after the surgery.. I have heard the same thing about adhesions,almost everyone has adhesions in their body,because of one thing or another.surgery,infections,injury.but not all are in pain from them.The majority of the people they do not need to do much,since most are not in chronic pain from them,and then many of them they are able to do a lap and clean them up,But then their are a few people like myself that produce them very quickly and despite what they do they cannot stop them from forming..Its frustrating to say the least.I am 31 years old with 3 children.who are 7,5,3..Its very difficult to lead a normal life anymore,and the very best is when i am on demerol,then i am able to function better..but now over the past few months,the demerol is not working that great.not sure if i am getting worse,or been on the med too long..I just take one day at time,All you can really do..Well its late and my littlest one fell asleep at 6pm and took it as a nap and got back up at 10pm arghhhh..so have to try and get her back to bed..
