Yes I know that each surgery causes more adhesions, (especially laparotomy), but when the gyn went in to scope in aug. the adhesions were too dense to lyse through the scope, he also could not find the bowels, and this is why they decided to go back to do laparotomy again, I could not live with the pain I was having, one dr. did a regular xray in aug at ER and said that due to certain gas numbers that I was probably at that point partially obstructed and that scared me, I hope this last surgery will not cause me to get worse woith the bowels. But I am in worse pain than befor eth last surgery, but I had to take the chance again, the drs. say i am probably looking at another one in the future, but I go to specialist(gerenal surgeon), they told me when he does any adhesions surgery, especially when it is on the bowel, instead of them using just interceec, that he specials in adhesions, 2 drs, told me this, he also goes in and completely wraps the bowels, does anyoe ever gear of that, I am sure it is another barrier, but maybe it wiuld work better. I just want the pain gone and be able to quit worrying EVERYDAY! I cannot believe this kind of pain can interfer in your life so bad!

I am contemplating more surgery now due to this same trouble,
I had pelvic pain and leg pain too!  I went in and the dr.
did a lap. but told my husband when he got in there he can
not see my last ovary, he did a laparotomy, untwisted the
bowel, was full of adhesions, and removed last ovary, it was
stuck to abdominal wall, he said he had to literally pull it
off,  I had no pain for 3 weeks, GREAT!!!  But after 4 weeks
the pain was back worse than before the surgery, I can not
stand it, I called him yesterday to go thru another lap.
He said that is all he could do, abd hopefully the laser would
help the adhesions not grow back,but it is interfering in my life.
There are times when I cannot even get up, or sit or bend.
The pain is awful, but it is in lower pelvic area where my
bowel he straightened, is and goes down to my legs. I am
looking for HELP!!!!!   Can not stand the pain!
