Endo and GI symptoms

Hi-

I have never posted on this board before, but Helen suggested I post it here (thank you Helen)after I posted on the other obgyn.net women's health board and didn't get much response. I was diagnosed with mild endo a few years ago. Took Lupron, followed by continuous bcps. Had a second lap a few months post-Lupron which showed no endo...so the diagnosis is now being questioned by many docs. Since stopping the bcp, I've had progressive pain, etc around my periods. For a month now though, I've had severe pelvic pain, severe nausea/vomiting, and a mildly elevated temperature. I've lost 20 pounds already from the nausea/vomiting. Since I wasn't able to keep foods or oral meds down consistently, my doc started me back on Lupron, as he felt endo was probably causing this. The pain has decreased some, but I still need pain meds to make it through the day. The nausea is less, though I still need to take anti-nausea meds as well. I saw a GI doc at the request of my gyn once this went on for a few weeks....GI doc doesn't feel it's from a GI cause though, felt it must be endo. A CT scan was normal basically (ruled out appendicitis), labwork was fine in the ER a few weeks ago, and an upper GI/small bowel series was normal except for reflux. My gyn originally felt sure it was endo....then started questioning it...and now has urged me to hang in there for a few more weeks since the GI tests have been normal. After I fainted at work from the pain and ended up in the ER, he suggested another lap....but I am adamant against having another done. After all the rambling, my main question is whether mild endo (none seen on bowels at time of first surgery and none really able to be felt during exam, though I have pain with them) can cause such severe GI symptoms for so long....or whether it's likely there is something else going on?? I'm beginning to believe that maybe I'm just nuts. Nothing else seems to make sense. Thanks for your input...
