I don't know if it would be ethical for me to hand out my doctor's number for that purpose (since, I just changed and started seeing him due to butting-heads with my old doctor), but let me do some research to see if I can provide you with something.

Additionally, I have been on continous birth control (with no period for almost a year) and with the lap last Tuesday there was heavy endo as well. So again, I (personally) find it hard to agree with your doctor.

Let do some research while I'm home recovering. I'll be back in touch.
