Yes. Pain without bleeding can be adhesions, and I had cysts too; it's just that the big mass of adhesions hurt the most, and all the time! My doctor said that the adhesions were definitely related to endo, in fact, that they weren't caused by anything else, because the endo lesions had stuck my bowel and organs together on the left side. In fact, my period hurt a little less sometimes, because then I had diarrhea and that didn't hurt the bowel as much. By the way, I've found that I like soup with my meals; vegetables don't do enough by themselves. (I wondered where that European habit came from.) I have a good doctor too, if you live in Ohio. e-mail me if you want. Elizabeth kdowling@apk.net
