I agree that talking to the doctor might help. My husband wasn't very understanding at first, because I had had the disease for 12 years without problems, and then all of a sudden I couldn't walk at least one week out of the month! Once he realized how much pain I was in and saw the difficulties I had trying to explain to the doctor why I was in a hurry to get treated, he became my biggest ally. Give him some time and don't try to hide your difficulties from him. I think he'll come around. And again, don't let someone bully you into a baby because they see it as a cure or a potentially missed opportunity. Hope things go better for you! Enjoy your Christmas break: I'm a teacher too, and counting the days!
