Hello, my name is Kellie and I'm 25 years old, just diagonised with Endo last Tues. They did a lap and a mini lab. to remove the cyst and 1/2 of my right ovary. I am currently recovering from surgery. My doctor told me to think about having a kid 1 year from now. Because I will have more difficulty if I wait. I've been married for 4 years, and we're both teachers, so you can imagine that we're are far from ready. I mentioned it to my husband, and he had no comment. (He isn't handling this very well, any suggestions on how to help him realize what I'm going through, please help!!!) I have had a lot of pain and discomfort. I am an active person, so this sitting down a lot is for the birds!!! I guess, I'm scared of the unknown. I've started looking at the literature and web sites. How long is it before you're back to "normal"? It is comforting to know that I'm not alone, although I feel like it right now. Anyways, thanks for listening.
