Re: Daypro and side effectsFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netMon Nov 30 17:01:48 1998
Dear Randi, My daughter and I have an auditory processing disorder which can resemble attention deficit disorder. I was wondering if it could be partly hormone related, because it is also affected by low light in the winter, just as some people's depression is affected. (Some people used to call this "spring fever," where it is very hard for some people to pay attention at certain times of the year because of brain hormones. We also cannot remember what we hear in words, but we can remember what we see.) By the way, read up on Lupron. A lot of people who have taken it report short-term memory problems, and I think that sounds too familiar already to me. There are other treatments considered as good. I suggest that you get as detailed a book as possible: I got "The Endometriosis Sourcebook," and if I stop reading e-mail a little, I might just get through it :) Elizabeth
