Re: Too many surgeries

Dear Toni, I appreciate what you are going through. Most of my pain was from adhesions of the bowel, and I am getting more pain since my laparoscopy (done Oct 28th). I also am a bit worried about it. Well, I'm losing weight, which might be a positive thing for me, but I'm also bloated in front. It now hurts on both sides. I'm going to talk to my doctor (he does return calls, but sometimes it takes awhile unless it is an immediate emergency). I feel like I'm pregnant, and the doctor said there is no way I could be pregnant with my tubes, etc. I'm just so bloated in front. There is no malignancy, he checked. I would like to know if there is connective tissue that is supposed to support the bowel in the abdomen. Maybe some sort of support is needed. I really know nothing about it, and I should, because I have bowel problems too. I also have a longer than normal large intestine on top of everything else. Elizabeth
