Heather & Dee, I am 1week (today) post-op. I had the exact same procedure as you did Heather. I feel very lucky because I have experienced very little pain from my recovery. Don't get me wrong, it hurts like hell, but not like I had imagined it would. I was told of so many things that were doing to be very painful, but I simi breezed through them all. I have been started on Premarin 1.25 mg, but they told me I was going to start out on the patch (then I got stuck with the pills, the liars). I have only been taking them for the past 5 days. What problems did you have with it? How long will it take for me to know if it is working? I did really bad on Lupron, but they never gave me anything to correct it. I did hear that you had a lot of post-surgical pain Heather (the night before my surgery) and I can tell you it had me even more scared. I have felt a lot more at peace menatlly since the surgery, so I know it does make a difference. I hope that you are feeling better Heather and Dee, I am glad to hear how well your surgery went. How big is your scars? Mine is only 8", but I heard they can do it in half the cut. Question for Heather: I keep getting responses from people thinking my surgery was everything but a hysterectomy. I have tried to correct them, but I am still getting a lot of unnecessary e-mail. Any suggestions? I can't answer all the messages and I keep getting tons of questions. Robin
