If they are sure all disease has been removed, your nerves may be triggering the pain. When nerves are continually stimulated (with endo) and the stimulus (endo) is removed, they sometimes will continue to send pain messages. This would not be due to endo. Ask your doctor about epidural nerve blocks and if they would be appropriate for you. They stimulate the nerve causing pain, until it no longer sends pain messages.

Hi! I have been on here driving everyone crazy for awhile. I had 2 laparotomies and 1 lap. since April 14 of this year. I am 9 weeks post op! When the dr. did the last surgery on Sept.29th he said that the entire pelvis was a puzzle and he had trouble figuring out where thing belonged, he said the transverse colon was in the pelvis smothering the samll bowel, I am agsin in alot of pain(crying at times) as long as I do nothing I guess I feel better. I am going to him tomorrow, and I have 2nd opinion too, that the dr, said that the dr did a very difficult surgery on me twice, and he commends him, but they do think another one will eventually have to be done again, I am sick of it, I think my main concern is that with the adhesions pulling so bad on the intestines, since all femalle organs are gone, I am worried that I will someday end up with a bowel obstruction, and I have had ALOT of severe pain, and I cannot keep from worrying about this. Both surgeries, my bowel was adhered with adhesions, and he said in sept things were worse than in april, he said that everything was all matted together, and he said that if I hadn't obstructed by the time they did the lap. in Aug. I probably would not. Am I crazy for worrying about this? I cannot help it. Thanks for listening again! Toni Welsh welsh@mail.fuse.net.

I am contemplating more surgery now due to this same trouble,
I had pelvic pain and leg pain too! I went in and the dr.
did a lap. but told my husband when he got in there he can
not see my last ovary, he did a laparotomy, untwisted the
bowel, was full of adhesions, and removed last ovary, it was
stuck to abdominal wall, he said he had to literally pull it
off, I had no pain for 3 weeks, GREAT!!! But after 4 weeks
the pain was back worse than before the surgery, I can not
stand it, I called him yesterday to go thru another lap.
He said that is all he could do, abd hopefully the laser would
help the adhesions not grow back, but it is interfering in my life.
There are times when I cannot even get up, or sit or bend.
The pain is awful, but it is in lower pelvic area where my
bowel he straightened, is and goes down to my legs. I am
looking for HELP!!!!! Can not stand the pain!
