Ask how many patients she/he currently has with endo?

What has been the success in treating those patients?

Is he/she familiar with the current literature on endo?

Is he/she familiar with Dr. Redwine's surgical excision study?

How does he/she handle pain management?

Basically become as educated as you can about endo. Do not accept any treatment without fully researching it yourself!

Tomorrow I have my appt. with my Gyn for my annual exam and we will be discussing what to do about my endo. I was diagnosed with ovarian cysts. Over the course of a year. They have grown considerably in size and there is one on my left ovary that is filled with blood. The right ovary has developed these growths also, but I think they are clear. >From my last sonogram in Oct. I was told it seems like I have endo but
the question of laparoscopy, Lupron, etc. will all come up tomorrow. Can any of you shed some light on what I should ask and what I should make sure I know before I walk out of that office? I will be going to another doctor on Wednesday for a 2nd opinion. I have never met her before. I'm telling you as much as I know about what's wrong with me. Help.

Thanks you .
