Procedures to control heavy breakthrough bleeding

Hi!

I've been continuous birth control therapy since Sept of 1997, but I was wondering if someone can tell me if there were any procedures to control heavy breakthrough bleeding. The Gyn I went to told me that there wasn't anything.

The reason I ask is because the possiblity exists that I may have to go back to cyclic. One of the reasons why I don't want to do that is because my periods used to act the same way when it came to the amount of blood that I lost each mo. Does anyone have any ideas on how to handle this with my new Gyn if this is brought up?

You may E-mail me privately.

Thanks a lot,

Kristy
