You can purchase bottles of oil filled capsules (like cod liver oil capsules) at health food stores - and here where I come from you can buy different brands at the drug stores, and the pharmacists are very helpful. I've read that you should always buy herbs that have the words "standardized extract" printed on the label. Evening primrose oil is used for treatment of pms and other menstrual symptoms.
