Re: hysterectomy

Dear Endo Readers,

I am having a hysterectomy on December l4th and am wondering how long recovery normally takes and what all activities I will not be able to participate in during recovery. I teach elementary school and would like to be able to go back to work right after the new year. Is that going to be possible? I hate to be away from the kids for very long. Is it true that you cannot drive a car for several weeks after surgery? Thanks. Debbie Sack
