Hey all,

I just had this really positive experience here where I live. We had a speaker at our support group meeting who is a nutritionist and works in an herbal pharmacy. She travels to all of these medical conferences and educates herself on alternative therapies. It was so exciting just to hear her speak. I always hear that you should exercise, exercise, exercise and I have to ask you... when my guts feel like they are being ripped apart who wants to do Johnny Jump Ups? I mean come on, I love to exercise and all but...Anyways, she had this wonderful 'love' of her body. I've never 'loved' my body, I've kinda felt cursed with my endo and cysts. She relayed that especially during your period, be kind to your body. Pamper yourself as much as possible. She is a big one for (don't laugh) talking to her body and listening to what her body tells her. Ya know, like when you have the cramps from hell, rub/massage your tummy and say "I know that your hurting and this really sucks, but I still love you." Can you imagine? I had never thought of that way. Frankly, I was to busy cussing it. She chatted about all these relaxation herbs and things for the lovely mood swings and depression times and things to give you energy. Basically, how to love and be really good to your body. I mean lets face it, this is the only body we have.

Just wanted to share.

With Love, Angie
