Cherri, I know what you mean about losing everything, it's not easy, to be sick and pay the bills at the same time. So it sounds like this is NOT a work related injury. And it doesn't sound like it's getting any better either. Without long term disability, that can be rough. By law, companies with over 50 employees have to give you 12 weeks medical leave, with or without pay. They will usually hold your job open for a year too. (they're supposed to). You might benifit from applying for some type of Social Security. Some states have a state run disability pay, like New Jersey does. I'm from Pennsylvania, and they do not have that. Look in your phone book under local government agencies for disability. That is separate from Social Security, if your state has that. If these shots don't work, does your doc have another plan to help with the pain? Sounds like you can't work with this, which is why it might be a good idea to apply for Social Security. Again look in your phone book for the office closest to you and ask them for an application. If the shots do work, you can always stop the process of applying. If you can't work because of it, and nothing can be done about it, well at least you have started the long process of applying for SSI or SSD, depending on your work history. Is your doctor supportive of your problem? Will he fill out forms, to state your disability? Keep records of everything as you are applying. If you are paying for elec, gas, utilities, call them up. They usually have programs for the disabled. It's not a huge discount, but every little bit helps. Don't lose your self-respect Cherri, you didn't ask for endo or back problems! Easier said then done I know........ Good luck Cherri, let me know what your going to do, and how the epidurals turn out. If I can help in any other way, please don't hesitate to ask. prayers for you Valarie
