I think that support is great, and numbers really mean something, but you can also start endless calls to government agencies such as the labor department if your job is discriminating against you. They don't want to talk, and they will give a real run-around, but I have also gone through this process for my daughter who had a "mild" learning disability: you need a "technical advisor" from the office of civil rights concerning either job or school discrimination. If you are disabled, and pain and endometriosis certainly SHOULD be considered a disability (that is something that everybody SHOULD be working toward -- recognition of endo as a disability), then employers or schools will face penalties for such discrimination. Oh yes, when the labor department transfers you to someone else, go immediately to the Office of Civil Rights (Federal), and ask to speak to a technical advisor. Then, when the complaint form is sent to you, fill it out completely. It takes time, but, the more people that do this, the more there will be a possibility that endo will be taken seriously.
