Re: Luna procedureFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netSat Nov 21 00:04:03 1998
Carmen, I actually got was able to get preg 3months after my Luna. I had a misscariage but got preg again w/in a couple of months. The first couple of months were kinda painful like my period was. But I can't tell you what a relief it was to not ovualate!!!! I went back on BCP when I stopped nursing, about 3months. But I could not remember to take the darn things so I went on Deproprovera. Which agian has it's bad side effects but not having a period was the best relief EVER. I can say I have been pain free from ovulating and period pain for about 4yrs. Sex still hurts as I have it on my bladder so deep penatration or certain positions hurt like hell. There is a MAJOR down side to Depro provera... I stopped taking it almost 1yr ago and still have not had a period. I may never get another one??? I'll let you know when/if I do. I would like to try to have more children but will be happy if Zack is my only miracle. I get twinges of cramps and my breasts are really sore most of the time so maybe my body is trying to regulate itself. My gyn wants me to take provera in the pill form for 10day cycles every 28-30 days. I want to give my body a little more time to do this naturally before I stick any more crap in my body. I had enough damage for now. Good luck. Kimb
