Re: Birth DefectsFrom: Caroline (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Nov 19 21:34:38 1998
Vicki, My doctor told me the same thing - that since pregnancy helps the endo symptoms and I wanted to get pregnant anyway, I should try clomid. I tried one cycle - it didn't make me ovulate, and I went back to the doctor and told her I was in too much pain to keep on with the clomid. I was scheduled for a lap about 2 weeks later and had my right ovary and tube removed (the pain was very localised and she said the endo had invaded the ovary) and endo burned off the bladder surface. The other tube was OK. That was about 6 weeks ago and I'm doing a lot better (she said it will take about 6 months to stop getting twinges from where the ovary was removed). Hope this helps! Regards, Caroline
