hi, I asked my new doctor what he would use to help prevent adhesions and he too would not use interceed He uses normal saline as the liquid to fill the pelvis to prevent adhesions.....did your doc say normal saline? He uses about 2 liters......and he told me everyone leaving the OR looks like they have " big pot bellies"......GREAT! He also said it take a few days to absorb the liqiud... I dont know any one whos doctor has done this before....so I cant tell any long term effects. If it works it would be wonderful! Let me know if it works for you!

Take care Ronna
