Hi there,

Wow it's been a while since i've been on this! i had 637 messages waiting for me when i logged in! i think the procedure in question is called a LUNA procedure. This stands for Laser Uterine Nerve Ablation. Ablation means the laser is used to sever the two nerves leading to the uterus. The idea is to stop the pain by ending the nerve pathway.

i had this done a couple of years ago in combination with my first laparoscopy that diagnosed my endo. i can honestly say it didn't make a difference for me but i would not make recommendations to you...only your doc knows.
