Hi Jenny! I've been doing the progesterone treatment for about 8 months now. I started on the oral medroxyprogesterone to see how i would react before starting on the shots. I actually had much better success on the oral as far as suppressing my periods and pain relief than I'm having on the injections (I've had 4 shots in that last 2 months). One big advantage to going on the oral form first is if you react really badly you can stop taking it right away whereas an injection is in your system for months. As far as side effects, I had insomnia, mood swings and headaches, but it's much cheaper and much easier on your system than something like Lupron. Good Luck! Adriana
