You are not wrong. If you are in constant pain, something is wrong. I had a doctor that I couldn't get to because the nurse practitioner was such a witch. What you should do is call back after hours and have him paged. That way he has to deal with you. When you talk to him mention the way you were treated and say that if it happens again you will be looking for a new doctor. You do not deserve to be treated this way.
