I saw a new doc today--great guy. Finally someone who would not only talk to me, but listen too. He suggested a 3-month course of Lupron, followed by continuous birth control pills. He also said that if I'm not happy w/how I feel on Lupron (side effects, no releif, etc.) that giving me bc pills or other hormones will negate the effects of the Lupron (so I don't have to suffer through the whole dose). Has anyone tried this (both the short course of Lupron, and "canceling" the Lupron mid-course)? Please let me know asap. I have some major reservations about taking the drug, but I don't wan't to rule out reasonable treatments. The pain is driving me nuts--I have to make a decision soon. Thanks. Best--Chelsey
