After my lap on aug 19, my doctor left endo on the utreine artery. My gyn says,he cannot take it off from artery,,,,,so he would like me to take lupron now, or consider a hysterectomy when or if the pains should return.... At this writing I feel good. i dont want lupron again, my choice and do not want a hysterectomy, i want to reach menopause with my natural hormones and my organs in palce. I have about 10 -12 years to go. My doc says if I do nothing, then more surgery will be in my future.maybe if the endo was removed completely, I would feel like i could succeed longer with no surgery for some time...... I liked what you wrote about Dr. Cook...... so I looked for myself today...... I e-mailed him with a quick note , on what concerns me. I heard from him tonight(thru e-mail) He would like me to call his office to set up time for us to talk...... all of this really has me thinking now. I live in NY...... this is not around the corner for me, but my husband says he would take me any where i wish to go How does this work with out of towners? Any thing you can tell me ,before I really get involved with this would be helpful....it worries me to travel so far to a doctor.what if complications happend? I had that on my last lap,2 weeks ago,and it was very scary..... sorry this is so long thanks for your time
