Re: 16 Days Post-Op Lap and No Good News to Report

Ronna,

Thanks for the kind words. This was indeed my first lap. I had an appointment today with my Internal Medicine physician and he gave Zithromax to clear up the UTI. He says that the UTI could be causing some of my discomfort, but not all. I will be checking with Ob-Gyn real soon about this.

I am really beginning to suspect that these "powder burns" that he mentioned to me may be starting to rear their ugly head. Do you know anything about those?

Have and blessed and pain free day!

sorry to hear how you are feeling..... I myself am now 11 days post -op...... and still feeling well...... kinda scary to read about all the pain you are in so soon... Was this your first lap? This was my second. I do remeber the first taking much more time in healing and feeling good. Could the UTI be causing some of your pain? I hope you have called your doctor and now taking a antibotic ...... if not , call now! Definately let your doctor know how you are feeling!!!!I took the lupron, it did help for 10 months, no pain! But it is only safely approved to be use 1x for 6months, so I will not take it again.......going to ride this out for as long as i can with no hormonal meds for the endo . If you can ,try to read about lupron with a open mind..... ask me any questions if you like. It can help, for a time. Thinking of you
